Job summary

Electra is seeking a dedicated Buyer to source, procure, and manage materials, products, and services for projects and operations within the GCC. You will ensure timely procurement, cost efficiency, quality compliance, and strong vendor relationships, collaborating with project teams, production, and stores for seamless operations.

The role emphasizes negotiation, supplier evaluation, and budget control, with a focus on adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in procurement or buying role.
• Experience in construction, fit-out, manufacturing, logistics, or events preferred.
• Proven negotiation, sourcing, and vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Sourcing: identify and evaluate suppliers for materials, equipment, and services.
• Source products in line with project specifications, quality, and standards.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Purchase Order Management: prepare and issue purchase orders accurately and timely.
• Track delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers.
• Vendor & Supplier Management: monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Budget & Cost Control: analyze purchase trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Coordination & Reporting: provide timely updates on procurement status to management.
