Job summary

Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair Hotel in Dubai seeks a Chef De Partie to lead a kitchen section, ensuring the highest standards of quality, hygiene and value. You will work under the guidance of Senior Sous Chef/Pastry Chef and collaborate with Banquet and Outlet teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food quality and nutritional standards
• Maintain food storage and handling procedures
• Work with Banquet and Individual Outlet teams reporting to Senior Sous Chef/Pastry Chef or appropriate Sous Chef
• Develop apprentices through training and performance reviews
• Maintain professional relationships with Service Team Members
• Follow hotel policies, procedures and relevant legislation
• Report hazards, risks and incidents as required
• Perform culinary production, portion control and service standards
• Prepare meat, poultry, game, fish, vegetables, pastry and fruit items
• Maintain cooking temperature, cooling and labelling
• Distribute supplies and operate kitchen equipment safely
• Follow directions from Senior Management
