Job summary

Zippy Talent Recruitment Agency Dubai is seeking an entrepreneurial Category Head – Security & ELV to lead and grow the Security business in the UAE and GCC. You will own end-to-end category P&L, strategy, vendor relationships and channel growth.

The role focuses on identifying, evaluating and onboarding new security brands to expand the portfolio, building go-to-market plans and developing channel strategies across the UAE/GCC.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Security, ELV, CCTV, Access Control, Biometrics, Video Surveillance or related tech.
• Strong UAE/GCC experience in distribution, channel sales or category management.
• Proven experience managing security technology brands and channel partners.
• Strong understanding of products such as CCTV/IP cameras, NVRs, access control, biometrics, time attendance and related security solutions.
• Demonstrated experience identifying and onboarding new brands/OEMs is highly preferred.
• Existing relationships with international security OEMs will be a strong advantage.
• Strong commercial understanding of P&L, margins, pricing, rebates, inventory and forecasting.
• Excellent negotiation, business development and vendor-management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a category rather than simply manage an existing.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new Security / ELV brands with strong market potential.
• Research emerging technologies, products and market gaps to identify new business opportunities.
• Build business cases and proposals for potential new brand partnerships.
• Approach, negotiate and establish relationships with international OEMs and technology manufacturers.
• Negotiate distribution agreements, pricing, margins, rebates, MDF, targets, exclusivity and commercial terms.
• Lead the complete brand onboarding and go-to-market process, from initial identification through to market launch.
• Develop channel and sales strategies for newly introduced brands and establish their presence in the UAE/GCC.
• Own the P&L, revenue, gross margin and overall performance of the Security category.
• Develop and execute the annual category strategy and business plan.
