Job summary

Emirates Group is seeking a dedicated Cargo Operations Agent in Dubai to oversee safe handling and processing of cargo within a busy warehouse and airside environment. You will lead a team, ensure compliance with safety standards, and coordinate with authorities to support timely shipments.

The role requires at least 2 years in cargo operations, fluent English, and knowledge of handling procedures. This position offers tax-free pay, travel benefits, and opportunities within a premier aviation

Qualifications

10 years of schooling or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years in cargo/warehouse environment.
Demonstrable knowledge of aircraft handling, ramp handling, cargo terminal procedures.
Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Direct a team through cargo handling and/or processing while upholding safety, quality and efficiency standards.
Inspect, verify and count goods at delivery, acceptance, breakdown and build‑up; update shipment data.
Liaise with customs, health and police to ensure timely cargo movement.
Ensure compliance with IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations and EU GDP for pharma shipments.
Process acceptance, delivery, build‑up and breakdown; monitor ULD, AWB, JNG and QRT on airside.
Plan cargo loading into ULDs and bulk based on priorities and available capacity.
Advise deviations from planned uplift to minimize impact on service and revenue.
Inspect ULDs and equipment; report defects to maintain safety and reduce replacement costs.
Monitor offloading/onload from flights; check for irregularities or policy deviations.
Monitor delivery times from ramp to warehouse to assure quality and service levels.
