JOB SUMMARY

Unified Microsystems LLC is seeking a skilled Cabling Engineer with a strong background in structured cabling and low current systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and committed to delivering clean, organized, and high-quality installations with proper final fix standards.

WORK OVERVIEW

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems (copper and fiber)
• Execute neat and properly labeled cable management in accordance with industry best practices
• Support installation and commissioning of ELV systems including:
  • CCTV systems
  • Access control systems
  • Network infrastructure
  • AV (Audio Visual) systems
  • BGM (Background Music) systems
• Perform site surveys and assist in material planning when required.
• Ensure all installations comply with project drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Conduct final fixes, punch list clearing, and system handover preparation
• Coordinate with project engineers and supervisors to ensure timely project completion.
• Performs other tasks that may be required from time to time.

Requirements

PRE-REQUISITES

• Strong hands-on experience in structured cabling (copper & fiber)
• Good understanding of ELV systems: CCTV, access control, AV, BGM, and networking
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• High attention to detail and quality of workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Driving license is a plus but not mandatory

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or any equivalent course
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in cabling or infrastructure management.
