Job summary

Sundus in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced electrical engineer to support the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and fault management of 400kV and 132kV underground transmission cable systems.

You will help ensure safe, reliable operation of high‑voltage underground networks through preventive and corrective maintenance and fault analysis, backed by a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least six years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in underground transmission cable systems.
• Expertise in cable jointing and termination, fault locating, and maintenance planning.
• Proficient with health, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and fault management of 400kV and 132kV underground transmission cables.
• Ensure safe, reliable operation of HV underground networks via preventive and corrective maintenance and fault analysis.
• Conduct fault investigations and technical analyses.
