Job summary

Telxpert Technologies LLC is seeking a Certified Structured Cabling Technician with 2-5 years of experience in installation, testing and termination of CAT 6 and fiber cabling in the UAE. Male candidates with UAE work experience and fluent English are preferred, with strong communication skills for client and team interactions.

The role involves site surveys, BoQ preparation, and readiness to perform civil works related to cabling, along with regular reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• Structured cabling certification required.
• Fluent in verbal & written English.
• Proficiency in MS Office & AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Install CAT 6 & Fiber Cabling Systems.
• Coaxial cable installation and termination.
• Trace, test, terminate and label CAT 6, fiber optic and data cabling.
• Perform site surveys and prepare BoQ for copper & fiber cabling requirements.
• Perform Fluke testing.
• Carry out civil & carpentry works for cabling activities.
• Daily reporting and preparation of site survey and installation reports.

Job description

Wanted Certified Structured Cabling Technician with minimum 2-5 years of experience in Cable laying, labelling, testing, tracing, termination. Proficiency in Copper & Fiber Cabling a must. Preferred candidates will be Male, able to speak English, and with UAE work experience .

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Installation of CAT 6 & Fiber Cabling Systems
• Coaxial cable installation and termination
• Tracing, Testing, Termination & Labelling of CAT 6, Fiber Optic and Data cabling
• Perform site surveys and prepare BoQ for Copper & Fiber cabling requirements
• Perform Fluke Testing
• Civil & carpentry works for cabling, such as, digging, trenching, erection of poles, fixing of pipes and conduits, ceiling cutting/closing, etc.
• Daily reporting, preparation of site survey reports & installation reports
• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering
• Structured cabling certification
• Proficiency in MS Office & AutoCad, must be able to study & prepare site drawings and schematics
• Fluent in verbal & written English
• Good communication skills for day-today interaction with clients, managers, suppliers and team members
