Job summary

Dhaba in Abu Dhabi is seeking warm, polished Hosts to join our pre-opening team and welcome guests with genuine warmth. You will manage reservations, seating, and guest needs while maintaining a smooth dining flow and high service standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience in premium hospitality, fluent English, and familiarity with reservation systems like SevenRooms or OpenTable. A professional appearance and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience as a Host/Hostess in premium casual, fine dining or five-star hospitality.
• Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage
• Experience with reservation systems such as SevenRooms or OpenTable
• Warm, confident personality and polished, professional appearance
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Calm and composed during busy periods
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays

Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest warmly and escort them to their table
• Manage reservations, walk-ins and the waitlist through the reservation system
• Plan seating to balance sections and keep service running smoothly
• Answer calls, emails and booking enquiries professionally
• Communicate with the service team on arrivals, special requests and VIP guests
• Note guest preferences, allergies and special occasions
• Bid guests a warm farewell and invite them back
• Keep the host stand and entrance area tidy and welcoming
• Follow grooming and brand presentation standards at all times

The Role

Reporting to the Restaurant Supervisor and Restaurant Manager, you will be the first and last face our guests see, welcoming them with genuine warmth, managing reservations and seating, and keeping the floor flowing smoothly.

Key responsibilities:
