Job summary

Dhaba in Abu Dhabi is seeking a warm, hands-on Restaurant Manager to join our pre-opening team and lead the guest experience at our new flagship restaurant.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will run daily operations, lead the front-of-house team and ensure every guest leaves with a memorable experience, while maintaining premium casual standards.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in premium casual or fine dining.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Sound knowledge of restaurant financials, POS systems and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth service across all shifts.
• Uphold SOPs, service standards and premium casual positioning.
• Manage reservations, floor flow and guest relations with warmth and professionalism.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and effectively.
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams on timing and presentation.
• Recruit, train and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver genuine hospitality.
• Lead pre-service briefings, ongoing coaching and performance reviews.
• Build a positive culture rooted in teamwork, accountability and respect.
• Manage daily sales, cash handling and POS accurately.
• Analyse sales, labour and COGS, and take action to improve profitability.
• Control costs through efficient scheduling, inventory and waste management.
• Support purchasing, stock control and supplier coordination.
• Coordinate with marketing and events on promotions and guest activations.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE health, safety and hygiene regulations.

The Role

What You Bring

• 3–4 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in premium casual or fine dining
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Sound knowledge of restaurant financials, POS systems and reporting
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
• Fluent English; Arabic or Hindi is a plus
• UAE F&B experience preferred; pre-opening experience is a strong advantage
