Job summary

The Lana, Dubai - Dorchester Collection in Dubai seeks a professional Butler to deliver personalized in-room service and guest experiences. You will manage in-suite amenities, coordinate with front office and F&B, and ensure timely room readiness with a guest-centric approach.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of luxury 5-star experience, knowledge of PMS and related systems, and excellent English communication (Arabic a plus). Permanent, full-time role in the United Arab Emirates.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar position in a luxury 5-star brand
• Middle East experience would be advantageous
• Certified butler professional

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and personalized service to ensure guests receive the best experience
• Know in-suite services, technology and amenities, hotel services and city activities
• Ensure guest rooms are ready on time and handle special requests with other departments to ensure seamless service
• Welcome guests, act as point of contact during stay, and assist with arrangements or requests
• Handle packing/unpacking and in-room F&B service as required
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of work areas and equipment

What You'll Do

• You are responsible to provide professional and personalized service to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
• You should be knowledgeable of in-suite services, technology and amenities, hotel services and city-wide activities.
• You will ensure the allocated guest rooms are ready on time, and all special requests have been prepared. Work with other departments, notably front office, and Food & Beverage, to manage our guests’ requests.
• Receive guests in a professional and friendly manner, exceeding guest expectations from arrival through to departure. Act as a point of contact for the guest during their stay, assisting with any arrangements or requests of the guests.
• You will be responsible for packing, unpacking, serving Food & Beverage requirements in the room and liaising with other departments to have seamless access and service to the suite/rooms.
• You will assist guests and handle any guest concerns in a professional manner and ensure a positive outcome.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and proper handling of assigned work areas, equipment, and materials.

• Communication is what keeps our department running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong guest service ethic.
• English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language Additional languages such as Arabic, are preferred.
• You will have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar position in a luxury 5-star brand, pre-opening experience would be advantageous. Middle East experience would be advantageous.
• You must be a certified butler professional.
