Job summary

TXM Solutions in the UAE is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Sales Manager for Freight Forwarding. The role focuses on expanding end-to-end logistics sales, leveraging an established UAE customer base and a strong regional network in Sharjah and Jebel Ali.

You will drive sales for Ocean and Air Freight across Export, Import and Cross-Trade, while promoting warehousing, customs clearance and related services. A valid UAE driving licence is mandatory for field activities.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding Sales
• Proven sales across Air and Sea Freight
• Existing UAE customer base within the UAE freight forwarding/logistics market
• Strong track record of generating new business and developing client relationships
• Understanding of freight forwarding operations, products and services

Responsibilities

• Generate new freight forwarding business by selling end-to-end logistics products and services
• Develop new customers while maintaining and growing existing client relationships
• Sell Ocean Freight solutions across Export, Import and Cross-Trade (FCL/LCL)
• Sell Air Freight solutions across Export, Import and Cross-Trade
• Promote warehousing, distribution, customs clearance, transportation and related services
• Identify new business opportunities and develop a strong sales pipeline
• Increase revenue through new customer acquisition, retention and repeat business
• Provide competitive rates and timely quotation follow-ups
• Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver high service levels
• Support timely payments and collaborate with operations to deliver effective solutions

Business Development Manager / Sales Manager - Freight Forwarding

We are currently recruiting experienced Business Development Managers / Sales Managers on behalf of an established freight forwarding and logistics organisation in the UAE.

There are multiple opportunities available across Sharjah and Jebel Ali. We are looking for experienced freight forwarding sales professionals with a strong UAE market network and an existing customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new freight forwarding business by selling end-to-end logistics products and services.
• Develop new customers while maintaining and growing existing client relationships.
• Sell Ocean Freight solutions across Export, Import and Cross-Trade, including both FCL and LCL.
• Sell Air Freight solutions across Export, Import and Cross-Trade.
• Promote additional logistics services including:
• Warehousing and Distribution
• Customs Clearance
• Transportation
• Break Bulk and ODC shipments
• Identify new business opportunities and proactively develop a strong sales pipeline.
• Increase revenue through new customer acquisition, retention and repeat business.
• Provide competitive rates and ensure timely renewal and follow-up of quotations.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and provide a high level of service.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and support timely collection from customers.
• Work closely with operations and other internal teams to deliver effective logistics solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding Sales.
• Proven sales experience across Air and Sea Freight is essential.
• Must have an existing customer base within the UAE freight forwarding/logistics market.
• Strong track record of generating new business and developing client relationships.
• Good understanding of freight forwarding operations, products and services.
• Experience with FCL, LCL, Import, Export and Cross-Trade shipments.
• Knowledge of customs clearance, transportation, warehousing and distribution would be advantageous.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence is mandatory.
