DHL Supply Chain in the UAE is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to steer growth, identify opportunities across contract logistics, warehousing and transportation, and drive sustainable revenue and market share expansion.

You will lead a UAE-based team, win complex opportunities, and collaborate with MEA sector teams to deliver innovative, value-based solutions for strategic customers.

Formación

• Extensive business development experience in contract logistics, warehousing and transportation.
• Proven track record of delivering commercial growth and managing complex opportunities.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence across a matrix organization.
• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Shape and execute the UAE Business Development strategy to drive revenue, profitability, and market share growth.
• Identify and secure new opportunities across contract logistics, warehousing and transportation.
• Build and deepen relationships with strategic customers and key accounts.
• Lead complex RFIs, RFQs and RFPs with cross-functional teams to craft competitive solutions.
• Lead commercial negotiations and advocate value-based selling.
• Collaborate with MEA Sector BDS teams, Operations and other DHL divisions to unlock opportunities.
• Build market intelligence and represent DHL with customers, partners and industry forums.
• Coach and develop the UAE Business Development team to foster high performance and customer focus.

Job description

We’re hiring: Business Development Director – UAE

DHL Supply Chain is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Director to lead our growth agenda in the UAE.

This is a key leadership role for someone who understands the UAE logistics market, knows how to turn customer challenges into compelling supply chain solutions, and has a strong track record of winning and growing complex business.

What you’ll do:

• Shape and execute our UAE Business Development strategy, driving sustainable revenue, profitability and market share growth
• Identify, develop and secure new opportunities across contract logistics, warehousing and transportation
• Build a strong pipeline and deepen relationships with strategic customers
• Lead complex RFIs, RFQs and RFPs, bringing together cross-functional teams to create competitive, innovative solutions
• Lead commercial negotiations and champion consultative, value-based selling
• Work closely with our MEA Sector Business Development teams, Operations and other DHL divisions to unlock opportunities across key industry sectors
• Build market intelligence and represent DHL Supply Chain with customers, partners and at key industry forums
• Lead, coach and develop the UAE Business Development team, creating a culture of high performance, collaboration and customer focus

What we’re looking for:

• You’ll bring extensive Business Development experience within Contract Logistics, Warehousing and Transportation, together with a proven track record of delivering commercial growth and managing complex customer opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE logistics and supply chain market, commercial acumen, strategic thinking and the ability to influence across a matrix organization will be critical to success.
• Fluency in English is essential, with Arabic an advantage.
