Job summary

Paramount Hotels Dubai is seeking a reservations professional to manage high volumes of sales and service queries via phone, fax, and email. You will check requirements, make bookings, and issue confirmations while upholding SOPs and delivering outstanding guest service.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in luxury hotel reservations, familiarity with Opera PMS, and strong communication skills within a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Reservations experience in a luxury 5-star hotel.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle high volumes of sales and service queries via phone, fax, and email.
• Represent the company by following standard operating procedures.
• Proactively upsell all products and services within the property.
• Make reservations based on customers' requirements.
• Assist guests with amendments or cancellations to reservations.
• Prepare letters of confirmation for bookings.
• Maximize sales and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform related tasks such as filing, handling complaints, and updating reports.

Job Purpose:

• Responsible for accurately and impartially handling high volumes of sales and service queries in a courteous and efficient manner. These queries will be handled through different channels such as telephone, fax, and email.
• To represent the company by following the standard operating procedures set by the organization
• Proactively sell and upsell all products and services within the property
• Handle queries through telephone, fax, and email
• Make reservations for customers based on their various requirements
• Provide support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation
• Prepares letters of confirmation
• Maximizing sales, as well assisting guests Internal/External and future customers by offering the highest level of customer service
• Perform all related tasks to the above position i.e.: filing of correspondence, handling customer complaints, checking and updating of related reports, amongst other tasks

• Minimum 1 year of Reservations experience in a luxury 5-star hotel.
• Previous experience working in a multicultural environment.
