Overview

Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced BIM professional to coordinate complex infrastructure models, maintain data integrity, and support accurate project information from design through construction, handover, and operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM workflows across civil, structural, utility, road, drainage, and infrastructure disciplines.
• Ensure modelling activities remain aligned with project objectives, contractual requirements, and the approved BIM Execution Plan.
• Establish and maintain project file structures, naming conventions, model exchange procedures, and document control practices.
• Review discipline models for accuracy, completeness, coordination, and compliance with the intended design.
• Protect model and data integrity throughout design, construction, commissioning, handover, and operational stages.
• Develop and maintain Employer 's Information Requirements, BIM Execution Plans, Master Information Delivery Plans, and Task Information Delivery Plans.
• Prepare project-specific BIM standards, modelling guides, templates, workflows, and responsibility matrices.
• Develop and manage asset registers, COBie datasets, model parameters, and structured handover information.
• Conduct clash detection using Navisworks or equivalent coordination tools.
• Organize and lead design coordination and clash resolution meetings during the construction stage.
• Record coordination issues, assign responsibilities, monitor due dates, and verify the closure of identified clashes.
• Coordinate with engineers and contractors to resolve conflicts between infrastructure networks, structures, roads, and existing services.
• Confirm that shop drawings are generated from approved and coordinated Civil 3D models.
• Review model-derived shop drawings for consistency with approved design information and site requirements.
• Ensure that as-built drawings are produced from verified as-built models.
• Monitor model revisions and confirm that approved site changes are incorporated into final digital deliverables.
• Provide technical BIM support to project teams, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver training and practical guidance on BIM software, information standards, and project procedures.
• Support the implementation of IFC and open BIM workflows across multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate asset tagging and ensure asset information is suitable for integration with facilities management systems.
• Assist with four-dimensional and five-dimensional BIM processes using Synchro, Primavera, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Support construction progress monitoring through digital applications such as OpenSpace and HoloBuilder.
• Maintain accurate records of model submissions, approvals, review comments, coordination actions, and data exchanges.
• Carry out model audits and quality checks to identify incomplete information, duplication, or non-compliant content.
• Keep current with developments in BIM technology, digital construction software, and information management standards.
• Coordinate multiple project assignments while maintaining accuracy, quality, and agreed delivery schedules.
• Promote consistent BIM practices and continuous improvement across project teams.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor 's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, BIM, Construction Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of BIM, CAD, digital delivery, or infrastructure coordination experience.
• Strong professional background supporting complex civil and infrastructure projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and related BIM platforms.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating multidisciplinary models during design and construction.
• Strong knowledge of BIM Execution Plans, information delivery planning, and structured project documentation.
• Experience preparing EIR, BEP, MIDP, TIDP, asset registers, and COBie information.
• Practical understanding of model-based shop drawing and as-built drawing production.
• Knowledge of IFC standards and open BIM information exchange.
• Familiarity with asset tagging, facilities management data, and infrastructure asset handover.
• Experience with Power BI, Synchro, Primavera, or similar tools supporting four-dimensional or five-dimensional workflows.
• Knowledge of construction progress monitoring applications such as OpenSpace or HoloBuilder.
• BIM certification in Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, RICS, ISO 19650, or a comparable discipline is preferred.
• Strong ability to identify coordination problems and guide teams toward practical solutions.
• Detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on model quality, data accuracy, and traceability.
• Ability to manage several projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective technical communication, meeting facilitation, training, and stakeholder coordination skills.
