Position Overview

BIM Coordinator Infrastructure – Parsons Corporation – Dubai, UAE

This role supports complex civil and infrastructure projects at construction stage, focusing on advanced BIM coordination, LOD400 and LOD500 model delivery, asset information management, and integration of 4D and 5D requirements to ensure accurate, compliant, and operation‑ready digital deliverables aligned with client BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM workflows and ensure alignment with project objectives and BIM Execution Plans
• Develop, manage, and review BIM models to LOD400 and LOD500 for construction, handover, and asset management
• Maintain and coordinate Civil3D and Revit models for infrastructure elements including roads, utilities, bridges, and landscaping
• Integrate 4D scheduling and 5D cost data into the BIM environment using appropriate tools
• Ensure data accuracy, metadata completeness, and model integrity throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage documentation, models, and coordination activities within a Common Data Environment
• Liaise with designers, consultants, and contractors to ensure BIM requirements are clearly communicated and implemented
• Provide technical BIM support and guidance to project stakeholders
• Develop and maintain BIM documentation including EIR, BEP, MIDP, TIDP, asset registers, COBie data, and BIM process documents
• Conduct clash detection and coordination workshops using Navisworks or similar platforms
• Create and manage LOD matrices, LOI matrices, and clash matrices at construction stage
• Ensure shop drawings are extracted from coordinated BIM models and as‑built drawings are produced from verified as‑built models
• Support digital delivery initiatives and smart infrastructure objectives

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM coordination on infrastructure projects, particularly at construction stage
• Proven experience delivering LOD500 models for operational use and asset management
• Strong understanding of BIM standards such as ISO19650 and PAS1192
• Ability to manage large, complex models and multidisciplinary coordination activities
