Job summary

Rowad Modern Engineering in the UAE seeks a BIM Architectural Team Leader to guide a team of BIM engineers and technicians, delivering coordinated, measurement-ready models for complex projects.

You will set BIM standards, supervise model development, and liaise with MEP, engineering, and project teams to ensure timely delivery and compliant designs.

The role emphasizes leadership, quality assurance, and ongoing BIM process improvements across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Architectural Engineering with strong BIM experience.
• Proficient in BIM software and coordinating multidisciplinary models.
• Strong leadership, communication, and quality assurance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of BIM engineers and technicians.
• Develop and manage complex architectural BIM models.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely BIM delivery and integration.

Role Summary

The BIM Architectural Team Leader will lead and manage a team of BIM engineers and technicians, ensuring the successful development, coordination, and delivery of high-quality BIM models for construction projects. The role will provide technical guidance, maintain BIM standards and workflows, and ensure model accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of BIM engineers and technicians.
• Develop and manage complex architectural BIM models.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely BIM model delivery and integration.
• Implement and maintain BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
• Review BIM models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with MEP, Engineering, Tender, and Operations teams.
• Liaise with consultants, designers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings and communicate BIM-related requirements and updates.
• Implement quality assurance processes for BIM deliverables.
• Identify opportunities for BIM process improvement and innovation.
• Manage and maintain large BIM datasets and models

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in Architectural Engineering, with strong BIM experience.
• Strong proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Graphisoft ArchiCAD, or SketchUp.
• Experience with Revit and Navisworks is preferred.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles and applicable building codes.
• Good knowledge of construction industry practices and BIM workflows.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of BIM and architectural engineering.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
• BIM certification, such as Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP), is an advantage
