Job summary

Egis, a global engineering group, seeks an experienced BIM Manager in Dubai to lead digital delivery across projects. You will oversee BIM strategy, standards, and model management, collaborating with architects, engineers and contractors to ensure seamless coordination.

You will mentor a team of BIM professionals, drive process improvements, and ensure QA of deliverables while staying ahead of new technologies and UAE regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in BIM management or a related role.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale BIM projects.
  • Deep knowledge of BIM standards and digital delivery workflows.
  • Knowledge of UAE building codes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement BIM strategies aligned with project goals.
  • Oversee BIM models throughout project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate BIM processes.
  • Establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
  • Lead and mentor a team of BIM professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Analyze and optimize BIM workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks on BIM deliverables.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in digital construction.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BIM-related issues.
  • Prepare and deliver BIM training programs for staff and project teams.

Job Description
  • Develop and implement BIM strategies aligned with organizational goals and project requirements
  • Oversee the creation and management of BIM models throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of BIM processes
  • Establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and best practices
  • Lead and mentor a team of BIM professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field.
  • Master's degree in a related field is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in BIM management or a related role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects using BIM.
  • ACC expert with administrative experience.
  • BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit, Navisworks & ACC.
  • Strong knowledge of 3D modelling and visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with project management software and methodologies
  • In-depth understanding of BIM standards, best practices and digital delivery workflows.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with digital delivery implementation in construction projects.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in UAE is advantageous.
