RIXOS Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Bartender to craft beverages according to recipes and service standards. You will deliver personalised, high-quality service, upsell effectively, and maintain a clean, well-stocked bar area.

Responsibilities include garnishing, stock control, cashiering, and training new staff. A professional appearance, strong English communication, and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bartender experience.

Job description

Prepare and serve beverage orders according to recipes and service standards maintaining thorough knowledge of all bar products and cocktail recipes

Provide personalised high-quality service with efficient and friendly customer interactions including upselling opportunities

Prepare mise-en-place garnishes and perform all side duties to ensure the bar is fully stocked and ready for service

Maintain the bar counter and surrounding area in a clean organised and professional condition at all times

Adhere strictly to opening and closing procedures monitor beverage stock levels and reduce spoilage and wastage

Ensure proper presentation and display of premium liquors on shelves with defined quantities maintained

Handle guest enquiries courteously and establish positive customer relationships

Perform cashiering functions and ensure strict adherence to outlet cashiering procedures

Coach and train new recruits through on-the-job training assisting in the development of employee skills and efficiency

Assist in monthly quarterly and annual inventory of operating equipment and supplies

Minimum 2-years of service as Bartender Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language

Team player with a creative and outgoing personality

Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times

Good communication and customer contact skills; good problem resolution skills

Good Food & Beverage product knowledge.

A good knowledge of beverage service styles and techniques, beverage preparation and specialized beverage orders of service is required.

A good knowledge of all hard liquor, wines, mixes/cocktails.
