Job summary

Daikan Hospitality Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Bartender to oversee bar operations, craft beverages to the highest standards, and lead the bar team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will supervise bartenders and bar backs, manage inventory, control costs, train new staff, and drive beverage sales while ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of bartending experience, preferably in high-volume settings.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.

The Senior Bartender is responsible for overseeing bar operations, preparing and serving beverages, maintaining high service standards, and supporting the bar team to ensure an exceptional guest experience. The role includes supervising bartenders and bar backs, managing inventory, ensuring compliance with company standards, and contributing to revenue growth through beverage sales and guest engagement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards.
• Ensure efficient and smooth bar operations during service periods and maintain high standards of beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve service-related issues professionally.
• Ensure the bar is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
• Supervise, guide, and support bartenders and bar backs.
• Assist in training new team members on beverage preparation, service standards, and company policies.
• Delegate tasks and monitor team performance during shifts.
• Monitor stock levels and place replenishment requests when necessary and minimize wastage and control beverage costs.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of beverages and bar supplies.
• Recommend beverages and upsell premium products to guests.
• Build positive relationships with guests and create memorable experiences.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support promotional activities, special events, and beverage campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local alcohol regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant, lounge, or bar.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage trends.
• Experience in inventory management and cost control.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
