Job summary

Hilton in Ras al-Khaimah is seeking a supervisory stewarding role to oversee banquet operations on a shift basis. You will lead team members, ensure timely setup and delivery of services, and maintain high hygiene and safety standards across stewarding areas.

Responsibilities include training staff, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring readiness for subsequent shifts, while maintaining clean restaurant and kitchen environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and speak basic English to understand job requests, notices and event orders.
• Ability to count service ware during large inventory events.
• Ability to perform duties in extreme temperature ranges.
• Knowledge of equipment used in stewarding and how to maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct team members including temporary personnel.
• Ensure proper setup for all banquet functions on shift.
• Provide ongoing training and development for team members to improve skills and performance.
• Inspect work areas for cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and equipment for all functions.
• Oversee cleaning of restaurant and banquet kitchens and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Act as liaison between stewarding and other departments.
