Job summary

dnata is hiring a Baggage Services Agent to perform baggage related activities at DWC in line with safety and operational standards. You will lead daily operations, supervise teams, and ensure timely baggage handling from arrival to departure while maintaining compliance and high service quality.

Candidates should have a High School Certificate and 2-4 years of experience in aviation or related fields, with English language proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Certificate is required.
• 2-4 years of experience in business administration, aviation, ground handling, or customer service.
• English level 4 (internal candidates)

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in promoting safe working practices and ensuring equal workload distribution across the team.
• Conduct safety briefings at the start of each shift and intervene when safety risks are identified.
• Organize daily operations to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with procedures and service standards.
• Ensure outsourced teams understand their responsibilities and meet SLA requirements.
• Brief team members on daily responsibilities, provide guidance, and deliver performance feedback.
• Oversee baggage sortation, handling, loading, offloading, arrival, transfer, and departure activities to meet operational timelines.
• Escalate operational issues to the Supervisor when required and support manual handling activities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions, standard operating procedures, and operational requirements.
• Monitor the serviceability of equipment and support systems, taking corrective action in case of breakdowns or failures.
• Maintain accurate shift records and documentation while coordinating effectively with relevant stakeholders to support smooth operations.
