Job summary

The Emirates Group seeks a Resource Allocator to optimize the use of manpower, equipment and facilities for daily operations in Dubai. You will manage pre-planning, shift allocation and real-time adjustments to meet service levels and customer demands, while leveraging advanced decision-support systems.

Role requires 5+ years in airport operations with supervisory experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in RMS/RTC/MACS/OPERA.

Qualifications

• 12 years schooling or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in airport operations, cargo, warehouse, ground handling, logistics, or related field.
• SkyChain / ASRS experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role in ground handling airline industry.
• Experience with operational resource allocation, shift management or overtime planning is advantageous.
• Advanced computer skills with RMS/RTC/MACS/OPERA knowledge.
• Knowledge of safety and operational procedures is beneficial.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to adapt to dynamic shifts.

Responsibilities

• Undertake allocation activities in three phases: pre-plan 24-7 hours ahead, shift allocation during the shift, and real-time allocation based on loads.
• Monitor task progress and adjust plans for delays or demand changes.
• Optimize resource use with RMS/RTC/MACS/OPERA to deliver effective allocation plans.
• Provide expert input to the shift in-charge for staffing and overtime decisions.
• Communicate allocation plans to resources and ensure smooth handover between shifts and departments.
• Maintain system readiness and respond to outages by coordinating with IT and planning teams.
