Job summary

Emirates Group in Dubai is seeking a Resource Allocator to maximise utilisation of operational resources including manpower, equipment and facilities. You will plan in pre-planning, shift allocation and real-time adjustments to meet load and SLA targets while handling unscheduled demands.

You will leverage RMS, RTC, MACS and OPERA to develop and communicate robust allocation plans, coordinating with shift in-charge and IT teams.

Qualifications

• 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in airport operations, cargo, warehouse, ground handling or logistics.
• SkyChain / ASRS experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role in ground handling airline industry.
• Experience in resource allocation or overtime planning is advantageous.
• Advanced computer skills with RMS, RTC, MACS and OPERA.

Responsibilities

• Undertake allocation in three phases: pre-planning, shift allocation, and real-time adjustments.
• Improve operational efficiency using RMS, RTC, MACS, OPERA.
• Advise and direct during shifts to respond to dynamic changes.
• Communicate resource allocation plans and monitor task progress.
• Ensure plans are in place during outages.
• Collaborate with resource planning and IT to align DSS outputs.
