Job summary

Abu Dhabi University is seeking an AV & IT Support Specialist for the Al Ain Campus. The role ensures seamless operation of auditorium AV, video-conferencing, lighting, and live streaming during university events.

You will also handle daily IT helpdesk requests and ensure security of AV equipment. The ideal candidate has strong AV knowledge, solid IT support skills, and excellent customer service, with ability to perform under pressure during high-profile events.

Qualifications

Experience with AV systems for auditorium events.
Ability to manage IT helpdesk requests and troubleshoot hardware/software.
Strong customer-service skills and ability to work under pressure during high-profile events.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance and coordinate with vendors.

Responsibilities

Review event requirements and conduct technical checks and rehearsals.
Operate AV equipment during live events and provide immediate technical solutions.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet event requirements.
Perform routine system inspections and fault diagnosis; engage vendors for repairs/updates.
Handle daily IT operations and support at the Al Ain Campus, including Microsoft 365.
