This pivotal role is responsible for the seamless technical operation of our auditorium and audio-visual facilities, ensuring that all university events, including conferences, ceremonies, lectures, and hybrid sessions, are executed to the highest professional standards. The successful candidate will manage and support a range of sophisticated systems, including audio, video, projection, lighting, video-conferencing, and live-streaming technologies. Key responsibilities include reviewing event requirements, conducting technical checks and rehearsals, operating equipment during live events, and providing immediate solutions to any technical issues that arise. Additionally, the role involves routine system inspections, preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and coordination with vendors for repairs and upgrades. Beyond event support, the AV & IT Support Specialist will also handle daily IT operations at the Al Ain Campus. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring system readiness prior to events, providing real-time technical support during live sessions, and coordinating closely with internal stakeholders to meet event requirements. The role also ensures a consistent, seamless, and professional standard of AV execution across all university events.
