Job summary

Regati is building an international automotive trading operation in the UAE, sourcing quality vehicles and exporting them to international markets. The Automotive Trading Executive will identify vehicles, build dealer relationships, inspect cars, negotiate purchases, and coordinate export processes from sourcing through to shipment.

The ideal candidate has a basic car knowledge, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a willingness to travel within the UAE to visit vehicles and expand

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in automotive or freshers with field skills welcome.
• Excellent communication, strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to network and establish relationships with dealers, suppliers, and automotive businesses.
• Interest in cars with basic understanding of models, specs and features.
• Based in the UAE with willingness to travel within the UAE.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle documentation accurately.
• Prefers experience in automotive sales, procurement, trading, logistics, or import/export.
• Existing network within the UAE automotive industry.
• Knowledge of vehicle dealerships, inspections, or export procedures.

Responsibilities

• Source vehicles through dealerships, auctions, private sellers, distributors, and other channels.
• Build and maintain a strong network of dealers, suppliers, auction houses, and automotive contacts.
• Identify and assess suitable vehicles based on specifications, condition, pricing, and market demand.
• Visit dealerships and other locations to inspect vehicles in person.
• Coordinate or conduct basic vehicle inspections and identify potential issues.
• Negotiate deals and purchasing terms with sellers and dealers.
• Coordinate vehicle purchases and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
• Work with shipping companies, freight forwarders, customs agents, and other service providers.
• Coordinate the export of vehicles from the UAE to international markets.

What is the Purpose of the Role:

As the Automotive Trading Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end sourcing and export of vehicles from the UAE to international markets. Your primary responsibility will involve identifying suitable vehicles, building relationships with dealers and suppliers, inspecting vehicles, negotiating purchases, managing documentation, and coordinating the export process. We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, confident in communicating with people, and capable of building a strong network within the UAE automotive market. A strong interest and basic knowledge of cars is important, but extensive automotive experience is not required.

We are looking for a proactive individual who can help us identify vehicles, establish relationships with reliable suppliers, negotiate competitive deals, and coordinate the process from sourcing through export.

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE: Experience a minimum of 1 year in automotive or Freshers with field skills are welcome
• Excellent communication, strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Ability to network and establish relationships with dealers, suppliers, and other automotive businesses
• Interest in cars and a basic understanding of vehicle models, specifications, and features
• Based and willingness to travel within the UAE to visit and inspect vehicles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle documentation accurately
• PREFERABLE: Previous experience in automotive sales, procurement, trading, logistics, or import/export
• Existing network within the UAE automotive industry
• Knowledge of vehicle, dealerships, inspections, or export procedures

Compensation:

Competitive full-time salary based on experience and capabilities, with potential performance-based incentives
