Job summary

Boundless Consulting seeks a Procurement & Import Manager (Automotive) to lead sourcing, supplier negotiations, and strategic procurement initiatives within its Automotive division in the UAE. The role requires deep market insight and cross-functional collaboration with engineering leadership.

Ideal candidate has 7+ years in automotive procurement, strong analytical and communication skills, and a track record of cost-saving and strategic supplier management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in procurement and import in the automotive trading industry.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies by analyzing the supply base, worldwide market conditions, and technology roadmaps.
• Lead contractual negotiations with suppliers on NDA’s, General Terms & Conditions, and Production Supply Agreements.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing process.
• Engage with engineering leadership to identify technologies and suppliers for vehicle development.
• Establish metrics to measure supplier performance and progress.
• Drive cost model transparency to understand total cost of ownership for supplier selections.
• Develop cost-saving initiatives through benchmarking, VA/VE, competitive bidding, and re-sourcing.
• Support business planning initiatives and milestone attainment.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and lead capital expenditure issues.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop sourcing strategies by analyzing the supply base, worldwide market conditions, and technology roadmaps.
