Job summary
PIPECARE Group in Sharjah, UAE is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Automation Engineer and Robotics to join our production team. You will plan, design, implement, and maintain automation and robotic systems to transform the facility into a highly automated, efficient manufacturing environment.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering and typically 5–8 years of relevant experience, with strong PLC programming,
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Typically 5–8 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics or manufacturing engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with PLC programming, industrial robotics, motion control, and automated machinery.
- Experience in automated testing, machine vision, sensor integration, and industrial control systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing process optimization, digital production systems, and industrial communication protocols.
Responsibilities
- Assess the current production facility to identify manual tasks and bottlenecks for automation.
- Develop and implement a factory automation roadmap aligned with targets and strategy.
- Redesign workflows to minimize manual handling, waiting, and delays.
- Integrate automated workstations, conveyors, sensors and controllers into lines.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, safety procedures, and quality standards.
