Job summary

Petrofac is seeking an Engineer I - Projects to be based in Sharjah, UAE. The role focuses on coordinating the project lifecycle, from contract review to supplier delivery, ensuring adherence to schedules and contractual requirements.

You will work with engineering, procurement and expediting teams, resolving issues, expediting shipments, and supporting kick-off meetings and performance reviews with suppliers. A degree in engineering and 6+ years in oil & gas project management are required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Minimum 6 years of project management experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Experience coordinating procurement, expediting and vendor deliverables.
• Familiar with QA/QC processes and supplier performance evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Review contract scope, obligations, schedules and deliverables.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and expediting teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Interface with suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure alignment with contract terms.
• Expedite shipments, review procurement status and resolve delays.
• Support in post award kick-off meetings and supplier performance reviews.
