Job summary
ARENGY in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced PLC Controls Engineer to design, program, and commission advanced control systems for automated lines and robotic cells. You will integrate PLC, Safety PLC, IIoT, digital twin, and machine vision to deliver high-reliability production systems with seamless robot and test platform coordination.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation or related field.
- 10+ years PLC programming and industrial automation experience.
- Strong knowledge of machine safety and Safety PLC systems.
- Experience with sensors (LVDTs, load cells) and I/O systems.
- Proficiency with 2D/3D machine vision and LabVIEW for testing.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop PLC-based control systems for automated lines and robotics.
- Create modular automation architectures with reusable libraries and templates.
- Standardize I/O, protocols, and interfaces across multiple production lines.
- Program PLC, HMI, SCADA, and Safety PLC systems ensuring SIL/PL/ISO compliance.
- Implement IIoT connectivity and data architectures with MES/SCADA/cloud integration.
- Lead commissioning, validation, FAT/SAT/IQ-OQ-PQ activities and ramp-up.
- Develop digital twin/process twin synchronization between models and production.
- Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement using data analytics.
