The role focuses on credit decisions, market research, and origination of new business while maintaining client satisfaction and portfolio quality.

The incumbent will collaborate with deal teams, manage key accounts, and ensure adherence to KYC/AML policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in corporate/wholesale banking.
• Knowledge of wholesale and corporate banking products and strategies.
• Ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders in the bank.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Credit and financial analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with deal teams on Wholesale Banking transactions to ensure timely closure.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, market research, and due diligence for credit decisions.
• Negotiate terms ensuring profitability and risk alignment.
• Maintain client relationships with high-value corporate clients.
• Originate and execute new business opportunities and meet revenue targets.
• Support clients in day-to-day banking and escalate operational matters as needed.
• Increase cross-sell across IB products and other verticals.
• Prepare Global Key Account Plans for key clients as needed.
• Monitor risk-adjusted return metrics and ESG data for relationships.
• Ensure KYC/AML compliance and maintain client files.
