Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee unloading of delivery trucks and assist laborers; stack materials in designated racks and bins.
• Count bags, boxes, tiles, fittings, and bundles alongside delivery notes.
• Manage the site tool crib; issue and return power tools and safety equipment.
• Issue daily consumables (gloves, grinding wheels, nails, binding wire) per requisition slips.
• Update bin cards immediately upon material receipt or issue.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and clear passageways; ensure fire extinguishers are accessible.
• Assist the Storekeeper during physical inventory counts and audits.

Delivery Unloading Stacking

• Oversee and assist laborers in unloading incoming delivery trucks stack materials orderly in designated racks and bins.

Physical Quantity Counts

• Count bags of cement boxes of tiles fittings and bundles of steel alongside delivery notes.

Tool Crib Management

• Manage the site tool crib checking out power tools vibrators and safety equipment to workers and checking them back in.

Consumable Issuing

• Issue daily construction consumables gloves grinding wheels nails binding wire against authorized requisition slips.

Bin Card Updates

• Update physical bin cards immediately upon material receipt or issue.

Warehouse Housekeeping

• Maintain high standards of warehouse orderliness clear passageways and ensure fire extinguishers are accessible.

Assisting in Audits

• Assist the Storekeeper during periodic physical inventory counts and stock verification audits.

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Technical Certificate; 2+ years construction storekeeping experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy (MS Excel); forklift operational awareness.

Professional Licenses / Certifications

• None mandatory.

Required UAE / GCC Construction Experience
