Qualifications

• Basic literacy to read labels, delivery tags, and signs.
• Awareness of general safety rules and safe lifting techniques.
• Ability to follow spoken and written instructions clearly.
• Basic communication and teamwork to work with site workers and the Storekeeper.

Responsibilities

• Unload, unpack, and verify incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist in issuing materials and tools based on approved requests.
• Move and transport materials within the store/yard using manual handling equipment.
• Clean, organize, and stack materials in racks or storage areas.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a clean, organized state.
• Assist with stock counting during inventory checks under Storekeeper direction.
• Follow HSE guidelines to keep the store area safe and hazard-free.
• Report damaged or missing items to the supervisor immediately.
• Keep storage yards clean by disposing of packing waste properly.

• Physical fitness and the ability to lift, move, and arrange heavy materials safely.


• Basic literacy to read material labels, delivery tags, and simple signs.


• Ability to follow spoken and written instructions clearly and accurately.


• Basic communication and teamwork skills to work well with site workers and the Storekeeper.


• Awareness of general site safety rules and safe lifting techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Unloading, unpacking, and verifying incoming materials, tools, and equipment.


• Help issue materials and tools to site work based on approved requests from the Storekeeper.


• Load, move, and transport materials within the store or yard using manual handling equipment.


• Clean, organize, and stack materials neatly in assigned racks, bins, or storage areas.


• Clean and maintain tools and equipment.


• Help count stock during regular inventory checks under the direction of the Storekeeper.


• Follow company HSE guidelines strictly to keep the store area clean, safe, and hazard-free.


• Report any damaged, broken, or missing tools and materials to the supervisor immediately.


• Keep storage yards and warehouses clean by disposing of packing waste properly.
