Job summary

Dhafir Technologies LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Store Helper to support construction site operations. You will unload, verify, and organize incoming materials and tools, and assist the Storekeeper with issuing items to site workers.

Ideal candidates have basic tool knowledge, are physically fit, read labels and signs, and follow written and spoken instructions while adhering to site safety rules. This role offers hands-on experience in a busy project environment with strict HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as Store Helper or Assistant in construction projects.
• Basic knowledge of tools and PPE.
• Able to lift/move heavy materials safely.
• Basic literacy to read labels and signs.
• Ability to follow spoken and written instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork with site workers.

Responsibilities

• Unload, unpack, verify incoming materials and tools.
• Help issue materials and tools to site workers based on Storekeeper requests.
• Load/move/transport materials within the store or yard.
• Clean, organize, and stack materials in racks or storage areas.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
• Assist with regular stock counts under Storekeeper supervision.
• Follow HSE guidelines to keep area clean and hazard-free.
• Report damaged or missing tools/materials to supervisor.
• Keep storage yards clean and dispose packing waste properly.

Essential Skills Required

• Prior experience as a Store Helper or Assistant in construction or contracting projects
• Basic knowledge of common tools
• power tools equipment and machinery
• Familiarity with construction materials consumables safety gear PPEs and general equipment
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift move and arrange heavy materials safely
• Basic literacy to read material labels delivery tags and simple signs
• Ability to follow spoken and written instructions clearly and accurately
• Basic communication and teamwork skills to work well with site workers and the Storekeeper
• Awareness of general site safety rules and safe lifting techniques

Key Responsibilities

• Unloading unpacking and verifying incoming materials tools and equipment
• Help issue materials and tools to site work based on approved requests from the Storekeeper
• Load move and transport materials within the store or yard using manual handling equipment
• Clean organize and stack materials neatly in assigned racks bins or storage areas
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment
• Help count stock during regular inventory checks under the direction of the Storekeeper
• Follow company HSE guidelines strictly to keep the store area clean safe and hazard-free
• Report any damaged broken or missing tools and materials to the supervisor immediately
• Keep storage yards and warehouses clean by disposing of packing waste properly
