Job summary

Al-Futtaim Retail is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales, manage daily operations, and lead a team in a busy Abu Dhabi store. You will oversee staff training, merchandising, loss prevention, and customer service to deliver a superior shopping experience. The role requires 1-2 years of relevant experience, strong English, and proficiency in Excel and SAP.

A high school diploma is preferred. The successful candidate will partner with store leadership to meet profitability targets,

Qualifications

High school education or equivalent preferred.
1-2 years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager with a proven track record of driving sales and profit results.
Strong command of business English and computer skills (Outlook, Excel & SAP).
Experience in training and developing a team of individuals.
Good command of numeracy and report analysis skills.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed profitability expectations for the store in sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.
Create and execute strategies to maximize store sales and control expenses.
Lead staff training, development, and weekly meetings to discuss performance and goals.
Ensure an excellent level of customer service and maintain merchandising standards.
Monitor inventory, stock movements, and store maintenance to prevent loss.
