Job summary

Paramount Hotel Dubai is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in leading a luxury outlet. You will develop the team, drive revenue, and ensure service standards reflect the Paramount experience.

Responsibilities include daily operations, staff leadership, guest satisfaction, reservations, billing, and cost controls. A Mashgiach certificate and fluent English are required, with preference for 5‑star hotel experience.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years in Food & Beverage, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly; escalate when needed.
• Oversee reservations, order-taking, billing, and guest service procedures.
• Drive upselling and revenue opportunities across the outlet.
• Support achieving sales, profitability, and beverage-cost objectives.
• Monitor stock levels, minimise wastage, and support cost-control practices.
• Conduct daily briefings and coach the team.

Job description

At Paramount Hotel Dubai, every Star has a story — and we’re looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager who knows how to turn great service into memorable guest experiences.

As part of our Food & Beverage Cast, you’ll support the Restaurant Manager in leading the outlet operation, developing the team, driving revenue, and ensuring that every detail, from service standards to guest satisfaction, reflects the Paramount experience.

What you’ll be doing:

• Support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate the F&B team to deliver consistently high service standards.
• Ensure the outlet is appropriately staffed and operationally prepared throughout each shift.
• Maintain exceptional food, beverage, and service quality, ensuring standards are communicated and consistently followed.
• Drive guest satisfaction by anticipating needs, recognising preferences, and delivering personalised service.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly and escalating where appropriate.
• Ensure the team is confident in reservations, order-taking, billing procedures, and guest service standards.
• Drive upselling and revenue opportunities across the outlet.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales, profitability, and beverage-cost objectives.
• Monitor stock levels, minimise wastage, and support effective cost-control practices.
• Conduct daily briefings and support ongoing training, coaching, and team development.
• Ensure tables, service stations, equipment, and the overall outlet are maintained to the highest standards.
• Maintain excellent grooming, hygiene, HACCP, health and safety, and fire safety standards.
• Work closely with Kitchen, Finance, Purchasing, Stores, and other F&B teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Step up and take responsibility for the outlet in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.

What we’re looking for:

• 4–5 years of Food & Beverage experience, with at least 2 years in a similar supervisory or management role.
• Previous experience in a 5-star international hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong background in F&B service and restaurant operations.
• Experience leading and developing multicultural teams.
• Strong commercial awareness, with an understanding of revenue, beverage cost, stock control, and profitability.
• Confident, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent guest-service and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of MICROS/POS systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• A positive and professional leadership style, with the ability to motivate and guide the team.
• Knowledge of menu planning, recipes, and kitchen organisation is an advantage.
• A Mashgiach Certificate is an additional requirement as specified for the role.
