Job summary

Apparel Group is hiring a Restaurant Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring service excellence, quality, and hygiene standards across all shifts.

You will drive guest satisfaction, manage FOH/BOH teams, and oversee P&L, cost controls, and inventory while maintaining brand SOPs and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Restaurant Manager experience in UAE/GCC.
• Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
• Strong leadership, P&L, inventory control, and POS knowledge.
• Fluent English; Hindi is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth service across shifts.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and guest service.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly to ensure resolution and retention.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, HACCP, and brand SOPs.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate FOH and BOH teams (15+ staff).
• Conduct regular briefings and performance reviews to meet KPIs.
• Manage staff attendance, leave, and labor costs within budget.
• Foster a positive, high‑performance culture with low turnover.
• Drive sales growth and manage P&L, COGS, and controllable expenses.
• Monitor daily sales, inventory, and wastage; implement cost-control measures.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports on sales, labor, and stock variance.
• Execute local store marketing initiatives and upselling strategies.
• Ensure licenses, permits, and staff certifications are current.
• Maintain cash handling, POS reconciliation, and petty cash records.
• Coordinate with suppliers, facilities, and central teams for maintenance and procurement.
• Uphold brand standards, visual merchandising, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Experience: 3-5 years as Restaurant Manager in UAE/GCC, casual or QSR dining preferred
• Education: Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus
• Skills: Strong leadership, P&L management, inventory control, POS systems knowledge
• Certifications: HACCP Level 3, PIC certification, Basic Food Hygiene required
• Languages: Fluent English required; Hindi is an advantage
• Traits: Guest-obsessed, hands-on, able to work weekends/holidays, valid UAE driving license a plus
