Job summary

BEAMS in Abu Dhabi seeks an Assistant Manager – F&B to lead the daily operation of ZUIKOAN, ensuring exceptional food quality, guest experience, service standards and food-safety practices.

You will oversee daily F&B operations across kitchen preparation, non-alcoholic beverage service and guest experience, ensuring food is prepared, handled and presented safely and consistently. Lead the team, maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, HACCP compliance, service and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in café, restaurant or premium food-service environments.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and cold-chain control.
• Experience in kitchen and service supervision.
• Strong cost, waste and production-planning skills.
• Calm and professional approach to guest recovery and service challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead opening, closing, shift briefings and daily F&B service.
• Supervise storage, thawing, preparation and traceability of frozen products.
• Maintain recipes, portions, plating and serving standards.
• Own HACCP, hygiene, allergen, temperature and cleaning controls.
• Coordinate kitchen, beverage and table-service timing.
• Train and assess Senior Kitchen, Kitchen and Service employees.
• Confirm purchase quantities and product specs with Storekeeper.
• Review food-cost, waste and stock-usage reports and address variances.
• Resolve guest concerns within delegated authority and escalate when required.
• Maintain handover arrangements for planned absences.
• Support F&B sales, food-cost control, and labour deployment.

As Assistant Manager – F&B, you will oversee daily F&B operations across kitchen preparation, non-alcoholic beverage service and guest experience, ensuring that food and products are prepared, handled and presented safely and consistently.

You will lead the team while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, HACCP compliance, service and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead opening, closing, shift briefings and daily F&B service
• Supervise frozen-product storage, thawing, preparation and traceability
• Maintain approved recipes, portions, plating and serving standards
• Own HACCP, hygiene, allergen, temperature and cleaning controls
• Coordinate kitchen, beverage and table-service timing
• Train and assess Senior Kitchen, Kitchen and Service employees
• Confirm purchase quantities and product specifications with the Storekeeper
• Review food-cost, waste and stock-usage reports and address variances
• Resolve guest concerns within delegated authority and escalated serious incidents when required
• Maintain clear cover and handover arrangements for planned absences
• Support F&B sales, food-cost control, portion management, waste reduction and effective labour deployment

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 4+ years of experience in café, restaurant or premium food-service environments
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Experience with frozen or centrally produced food is preferred
• HACCP and relevant food-safety certification
• Hospitality or food-service qualification preferred
• Fluent English communication skills
• Strong knowledge of food safety and cold-chain control
• Experience in kitchen and service supervision
• Strong cost, waste and production-planning skills
• Calm and professional approach to guest recovery and service challenges
