BEAMS in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Assistant Manager – Retail to lead the sales floor during shifts and support the Shop Manager in delivering sales, customer experience, and product presentation standards.

The successful candidate will coach Sales Executives to create meaningful customer interactions through styling, storytelling and genuine hospitality, with a strong focus on premium service and team performance in a luxury retail environment, including stock presentation and event readiness.

• 3+ years of experience in premium/luxury retail.
• 1–2+ years of supervisory or team-leading experience.
• Strong customer service and people-coaching skills.
• Confident communication and ability to lead by example.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Comfortable with shift-based schedules.

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Retail to join our team in Abu Dhabi and help bring the BEAMS experience to life on the sales floor.

As Assistant Manager – Retail, you will lead the retail floor during assigned shifts and support the Shop Manager in delivering sales, customer experience, team performance and product presentation standards.

You will coach Sales Executives to create meaningful customer interactions through styling, product curation, storytelling and natural hospitality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead shift briefings, floor allocation, breaks and handovers
• Model and coach The BEAMS Abu Dhabi Way on the sales floor
• Support team sales while prioritising store and customer outcomes
• Monitor conversion, average transaction value and individual contribution
• Develop product knowledge, styling and curation storytelling
• Maintain fitting-room, floor and replenishment standards
• Implement and maintain visual direction provided by the designated VMD
• Oversee mobile and fixed POS use, returns and service recovery
• Coordinate stock availability and counts with the Storekeeper
• Report customer demand, missed sales and local product feedback
• Support retail targets, transaction accuracy and loss prevention
• Approve returns, discounts and compensation within delegated authority

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of experience in premium/luxury retail, fashion, lifestyle or a customer-focused environment
• 1–2+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience
• Strong customer service and people-coaching skills
• Confident communication and ability to lead by example
• Strong interest in fashion, lifestyle, styling and product storytelling
• Commercial awareness with a customer-first mindset
• Excellent English communication skills
• Professional grooming and presentation
• Comfortable working a shift-based schedule, including extended periods of standing and walking
• Flexibility to support launches, events and stock counts

Reports to: Shop Manager

Supervises: Sales Executives

Works closely with: VMD, Storekeeper and F&B Team
