Job summary

Sunset Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager for SUSHISAMBA Abu Dhabi, located at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers. This hands-on leadership role requires strong operational and commercial expertise in a high-volume luxury dining environment.

Lead the FOH team, ensure exceptional guest service, manage VIP guests, and collaborate with Culinary, Bar, Reservations and Marketing to drive revenue, control costs, and uphold brand standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive F&B management experience.
• Experience in premium/luxury lifestyle dining.
• Experience managing high-volume, fast-paced operations.
• Strong financial acumen including P&L, budgeting, forecasting.
• Excellent command of English; VIP handling and guest recovery.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations.
• Lead and develop the FOH team to deliver exceptional service.
• Maintain floor presence and guest experience across the venue.
• Drive operational excellence while upholding brand standards.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and P&L reviews.
• Manage VIP guests and service recovery professionally.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Bar, Reservations, Marketing and others.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
• Ensure health and safety and compliance with policies.
