Job summary

Strategic HR Solutions is hiring a finance professional for an insurance client in the UAE. The role covers financial operations, reconciliations, claim payments, cash flow, budgeting, and reporting. Strong IFRS knowledge, ERP experience (Oracle/SAP/Dynamics), and bilingual English/Arabic skills are required.

The candidate will supervise junior staff, collaborate with Operations/Claims and Legal teams, and ensure precise financial records and internal controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of progressive finance/accounting experience within an insurance company.
• Experience with claim payments and insurance-related financial operations is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance company accounts, reconciliations, invoicing, collections, and ageing.
• Oversee financial processing and settlement of claim payments.
• Coordinate with Operations/Claims and Legal teams on financial and insurance-related matters.
• Support court-appointed experts by providing financial records, calculations, and documentation when required.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow monitoring.
• Supervise junior finance staff and support process improvements and internal controls.
• Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
