Job summary

Orient Insurance PJSC in the UAE seeks a Finance Officer to supervise the accounts receivable ledger and reconcile it with the general ledger across offices. The role supports the Finance Manager in compiling data for underwriting and government reporting.

Fresh graduates or 1–2 years in banking or insurance are welcome; candidates living in Dubai or Sharjah who can join immediately are preferred, with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Emiratization with Family Book.
• Fresh graduate or 1–2 years of experience in banking or Insurance Company.
• Living in Sharjah or Dubai.
• Ability to join immediately.
• Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and agreed TAT.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preparation of the accounts receivable ledger to provide timely statements to clients.
• Reconcile AR statements across Orient Head office, branches and chief agency with the GL.
• Assist Finance Manager in data collection for underwriting and financial reports for management.
• Assist in preparing financial reports for government departments to meet statutory requirements.
• Review branch reports for financial accuracy and assign accounting effects.
• Maintain and update broker accounts to identify variances and corrective actions.
• Check premium registers and verify records for variances and remedial actions.
