Miral is seeking a Kitchen Steward/Assistant for the Food & Beverage Department in Abu Dhabi. The role involves scheduling kitchen attendants, checking hygienic conditions, and supporting the Chief Steward with inventory and requisitions.

The person should display a friendly, helpful attitude with guests and colleagues, maintain brand image, and assist in achieving department KPIs while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Essential High School Diploma required; 1–2 years in similar role or 4 years as steward/kitchen helper in a Five Star hotel or similar.
• Desirable College Diploma in food services or culinary arts; 3–4 years experience in kitchen stewarding.

Responsibilities

• Display friendly, helpful attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues.
• Represent Farah positively to maintain brand image with stakeholders.
• Assist in achieving department and company objectives and KPIs.
• Follow UAE laws and safety policies; report safety concerns to management.
• Follow emergency procedures to ensure guest safety and assist evacuations if needed.
• Clean kitchen areas; order kitchen cleaning supplies.
• Maintain inventory of crockeries and cutleries; coordinate with kitchen brigade.
• Help prepare weekly schedules for stewarding staff reflecting business needs.
