• Expertly clean prepare and portion various types of fresh seafood from whole fish to shellfish adhering to strict hygiene standards
• Develop and execute innovative daily specials that highlight seasonal seafood and Arabic culinary influences
• Manage inventory of seafood spices and other ingredients minimizing waste and ensuring optimal stock levels
• Possesses a culinary degree or equivalent professional training in culinary arts, with a specialization in seafood or Arabic cuisine.
• Holds a valid food handler's certification and any other relevant health and safety certifications.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a cook, with at least 3 years focused on Arabic cuisine and seafood preparation in a professional kitchen.
• Demonstrates a deep understanding of Arabic spices, herbs, and traditional cooking techniques specific to seafood.
