This position is within the EMEA Stores Talent Acquisition Marketing (STAM) Team, supporting the strategic transformation of Amazon's employer brand in the AMET region. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive employer branding strategies that attract qualified talent across our operations and consumer businesses, while enhancing Amazon's reputation as an employer of choice in the region. This role is an individual contributor and reports to the Audience Insights & Communication Planning Lead within the STAM team.
Key job responsibilities
- Strategy Development & Execution:
- Lead the development and implementation of Amazon's employer brand and recruitment marketing strategy in AMET, starting with Saudi Arabia, ensuring cultural authenticity and alignment with Vision 2030.
- Conduct market and candidate research and competitor analysis to inform strategic planning and identify opportunities.
- Develop detailed candidate personas and journey maps for key talent segments.
- Create comprehensive communication frameworks addressing full-funnel recruitment marketing needs.
- Employer Value Proposition:
- Lead the formulation, articulation, and localization of Amazon's EVP for AMET markets.
- Ensure consistent EVP implementation across all touchpoints.
- Develop compelling narratives that showcase Amazon's unique offerings while respecting cultural nuances.
- Champion the AMET/Saudi talent perspective internally to influence broader employer brand initiatives.
- Campaign & Content Strategy:
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Lead the creation of culturally authentic Arabic-first content strategies.
- Establish editorial calendars and content frameworks supporting both immediate recruitment needs and long-term brand building.
- Partner with creative agencies to ensure high-quality, culturally relevant execution.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including PR, PXT, Business Leaders, and recruitment teams.
- Collaborate with peers in the STAM team to ensure alignment with broader strategies and coordinate key executions across channels.
- Manage agency relationships and external partnerships.
- Influence senior leadership on employer brand initiatives and investments.
- Measurement & Optimization:
- Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks for all initiatives.
- Implement testing strategies to optimize campaign performance.
- Analyze market trends, candidate behavior, and brand performance data.
- Provide regular reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Innovation & Best Practices:
- Drive experimentation in employer branding approaches.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions for talent attraction.
- Stay current with market trends and evolving candidate preferences.
- Document and share best practices across the organization.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
- Fluent in Arabic (speaking, writing, reading).
- Experience leading and aligning large cross-functional teams and agency partners.
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with global strategic partners.
