Job summary

LEO Middle East FZE seeks an experienced After-Sales / Technical Service Engineer to support customers, distributors and projects across the Middle East and Africa. The role focuses on practical pump and mechanical system knowledge and site visits for installation, commissioning and maintenance.

The candidate should have a technical background in pumps, motors, HVAC or water systems, be willing to travel, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics engineering or related field.
• Experience with pumps, motors, HVAC or water systems is preferred.
• Strong hands-on, problem-solving and independent working skills; good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for pump installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Attend customer and project sites for inspection, testing, commissioning and service.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in pumps and pumping systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical seals, bearings, shafts, couplings and motors.
• Support distributors and customers with installation, operation and maintenance.
• Prepare service reports and follow up until issue resolution.
• Coordinate with factory and technical teams to investigate complaints.
• Provide product and maintenance training to distributors and customers.
• Support warranty investigations and technical claim handling.
• Travel within UAE and occasionally to other Middle East/Africa regions.

LEO Middle East FZE is looking for an experienced and hands-on After-Sales / Technical Service Engineer to support our customers, distributors and projects across the Middle East and Africa.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience with pumps, motors, mechanical equipment, water systems or similar industrial equipment, and be comfortable working at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for pump installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Attend customer and project sites for inspection, testing, commissioning and technical service.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems related to pumps and pumping systems.
• Troubleshoot issues involving mechanical seals, bearings, shafts, couplings, motors and related components.
• Support distributors and customers with installation, operation and maintenance.
• Prepare service reports and follow up on technical issues until resolution.
• Coordinate with LEO factory and technical teams to investigate product complaints and technical problems.
• Provide product and maintenance training to distributors, contractors and customer service teams.
• Support warranty investigations and technical claim handling.
• Travel within the UAE and occasionally to other Middle East and African countries when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical field.
• Practical experience with pumps, motors, mechanical equipment, HVAC, water systems or similar equipment is preferred.
• Experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of mechanical components, including mechanical seals, bearings, shafts, couplings and motors.
• Strong hands-on ability and practical problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently at customer sites.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel within the UAE and internationally when required.
