Job summary

Transmed in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to manage supplier vouchers and payable entries within the JD Edwards ERP system. The role focuses on accurate GL postings, maintaining strong payable balances, and timely processing of invoices with proper approvals.

The candidate will reconcile bank accounts monthly, ensure compliance with supplier guidelines, and support process improvements within the AP team. Dubai-based position with on-site work required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience processing payables and supplier vouchers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process service providers and local vendors’ payable vouchers in JDE to reflect GL accounts.
• Prepare monthly statements of accounts for payables and reconcile balances.
• Maintain control over the AP process, ensuring timely debits on claimable amounts.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure approvals before recording in ERP.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and record bank entries.
• Review AP processes and propose improvements.
• Record petty cash expenses.
