Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking an Accountant in Abu Dhabi, UAE, for a fixed-term 10-year engagement. The role entails end-to-end accounts payable processes, ERP usage (SAP/Oracle), and ensuring accuracy and compliance under tight deadlines.

The position targets UAE Nationals and requires strong Excel and English communication skills. The successful candidate will support month-end and year-end closings, audits, and process improvements while collaborating across procurement and finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.
• Strong problem-solving and process-improvement skills.
• Excellent communication skills with strong written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely using ERP systems.
• Perform three-way matching of POs, goods receipts, and invoices.
• Verify invoice accuracy and obtain necessary approvals prior to payment.
• Prepare and process vendor payments through various methods.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor ageing reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Coordinate with procurement, receiving, and business units on invoice issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end closings, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Assist audits with required documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and efficiency.
• Prepare reports and analyses for management.
