Job summary

RTC-1 Employment Services in Abu Dhabi seeks an Accounts Payable Officer for a full-time role. You will process supplier invoices, manage payment requests and ensure ledger accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, at least 4 years in accounting with 2 years in AP, UAE VAT familiarity, and hands-on SAP/ERP experience with strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• At least 4 years in accounting with 2+ years in AP.
• Experience processing around 500 invoices per month.
• Hands-on UAE VAT compliance and ERP systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and payment requests.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor AP aging and payment due dates.
• Coordinate with procurement, stores, and other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance with UAE VAT requirements.

Qualifications

• Open to Asian, Male, aged 38 years or below.
• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least 4 years of overall accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in Accounts Payable (AP) and experience processing approximately 500 invoices per month.
• Must have practical experience in UAE VAT compliance, including VAT return preparation and filing.
• Must have hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills for invoice processing, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
