Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji & Company Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Accountant in the UAE, based in Umm Al Quwain or Ajman. The role requires hands-on accounting, UAE VAT compliance, and proficiency with SAP.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of relevant experience, strong MS Excel skills, and familiarity with financial reporting in a manufacturing context. Full-time employment with negotiable salary.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have practical accounting experience, a good understanding of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards, and hands-on experience with SAP accounting software.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience is required.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.
• Hands-on experience with SAP accounting software is required.
• ACCA, ACA, or other relevant accounting qualifications will be an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.

Core Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations & Reconciliation: Handle daily accounting transactions, account reconciliations, and maintenance of financial records while ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
• VAT & Taxation: Handle UAE VAT and other tax-related accounting requirements, ensuring accurate records and compliance with applicable UAE regulations.
• ERP: Use ERP accounting software for financial data processing, recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing financial reports.
